WHAT IS CITY-BUILDER?

A miniature city built by your own hands

Main scale: 1:600

City-Builder is a modular paper-modeling project for creating your own miniature city. Download the printable templates, print them at home, cut, fold and glue — then place the finished building into a city that keeps growing. Houses, skyscrapers, factories, shops, farms, hospitals, schools, railways and infrastructure are designed to work together as one system.

WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT

A city-building game — without losing the city when the screen turns off

Computer city-builders are exciting, but everything you create remains virtual. City-Builder brings the same planning instinct into the physical world.

A virtual city
ON THE SCREEN

A virtual city

You plan districts, roads and infrastructure, but the result exists only as pixels. Close the game and your city disappears from view.

A real city
ON YOUR TABLE

A real city

Every building is a physical object. Pick it up, move it, replace a district, redesign roads, photograph it, build together and keep the city as a collection.

You do not just watch the city grow. You physically build it.
One scale. One connected Megacity.

DESIGNED AS ONE SYSTEM

One scale. One connected Megacity.

The main City-Builder collection uses a compact 1:600 scale, so hundreds of compatible structures can become one large city without requiring an enormous room.

Issues #1–#9 include sections of the road map. Together, the nine sections form one interconnected Megacity map.
Issues released after #9 are expansion sets: they add new buildings, transport and infrastructure to the main Megacity without adding new map sections.

MORE THAN PAPER MODELS

A creative city-building hobby

City-Builder combines papercraft, architecture, engineering, collecting and urban planning. Each finished model is more than a separate object — it becomes part of a city that belongs to you.
